The food at this restaurant was excellent, but unfortunately they didn't have the wine we were looking for. We were surprised by the high prices, nearly £5 for a small bottle of beer and £12 for a gin and tonic. We want to support local restaurants, but the costs add up quickly, especially when drinks are that expensive. It's no surprise that there were only three occupied tables during our visit.
Booked in for a sunday dinner but it wasnt until we had ordered drinks and they came to take our food order they had sold out of all sunday dinners! Wish they had told us when we arrived as ee could have gone elsewhere
Excellent service. Only disappointment was that there was no apple sauce to accompany the roast pork belly and no first choice wine. But otherwise a very pleasant experience. We will be back!
Great food and service. Brief but good wine choices. Pan fried lamb chops and broccoli with chili and almonds was great.
