I go to this restaurant since its opening; they are always consistent in service and food. It is authentic Szechuan cuisine, so if you cannot deal with spicy, look elsewhere, otherwise this is spicy lover heaven. This place is busy during dinner and weekends, but if you come early for lunch or a weekday, you will get a place easy. You use to have free sweet mung bean soup after your meal, but have not seen it recently. The ice cream jelly ordered, but was $7, BUT very good after salty, spicy and oily dishes. 5/5 stars for my favorite Szechuan restaurant in New York.
Undoubtedly, people consistently rank Szechuan Mountain House as the best Szechuan style restaurant in New York. As always, excellent customer service and good food. Best SOUR cabbage and fish soup I've ever had. The Swing Pork Belly is something I always order every time I am here, not only for the look/display, but for the taste.
Genuinely Szechuan in the heart of Flushing. Fast service and generous dishes. Braised pork belly clay pot, Ma La Prawns, water spinach and tripe must have items to order. Many more authentic Chinese treats in the menu keep you back.
A great restaurant in every way. Make sure to order the fluctuating pork. It looks funny, tastes good and is pretty full, we talk about pure fat here. The menu offers really great dishes. The ambience here is really beautiful.
