Entered this store today to get lunch, there was a line but that was to be expected during lunch time. A customer was unhappy with their service and speaking to staff regarding this, and there were problems with Uber orders. Nevertheless I could see staff were busy and overheard a comment that they were short staffed, so I was happy to wait. As I finally inched towards placing my order, a staff member advised to a woman at the end of the line they were out of certain toppings, which is totally fine, however this woman was enquiring about possible employment and the attitude of the staff member she spoke with, I wouldn’t blame her if she no longer wished to apply. When I was finally able to order, staff were prioritising Uber orders, which is fine, but there was no ‘sorry we won’t be long or ‘sorry about the wait’ or ‘sorry I am just making an Uber order’. Nothing. To the staff members credit who served me, she was very polite. Another male staff member was noticeable standing at the back of the store during this whole period (I was waiting almost 20 minutes in line) and staring at customers. When he finally came out he would only pay orders through and offered no support to other staff who were clearly struggling. Another staff member was muttering under her breath for customers to hear. It’s not the fact I had to wait, it was lunch time, it was the middle of the mall and things get busy. It was just the poor customer service, poor attitude and lack of care.
