"quieter place and not necessarily on good wise. the place is a little weird when I'm honest. the service is slow and seemed quite tense! eating, though ok, could and should be much better in considering the size of the menu. if they. need a quick bite, then it will suffice, but it is on a certain type of client that was clear as it was busy, it was simply not for us."

...and not necessarily a food one. We paid this establishment a recent visit after a recommendation but wished we hadn’t bothered. The food wasn’t poor (it just wasn’t anything special) but the man who greeted us and showed us to our table was not pleasant.. verging on rude to say the least. He wasn’t welcoming, not accommodating and spoiled our experience right from the beginning. When we went to pay our bill he expressed his surprise that our bill didn’t come top more! The waitresses were very friendly and helpful but their pink pinafores plus the decor was a step back in time. I ordered a simple scone and coffee but the scone appeared not to be homemade. Another family member had soup and it was homemade and enjoyed it. All in all, not an experience we want to repeat.

visited here with a few friends for after tee after hearing that the well baked in the house, came to hours before closing) to find that from the entire menu in the offer I have a choice of “Queen of Puddings” or Swiss...roll and that was to share between four people. service was bad, very old-fashioned place that melts like a nursing home, toilets were like something from an asyl, they will not sit there too long as they were irony! I decided that I would try the “king of puddings”, sponge and jam in the basic of a teacup with a meringue on the top, assumed to be served warm, but was cold. in total not somewhere I would also consider myself to be the return. nothing dared. probably better suited for the old

it was my idea to try this place I had often happened, so I was a bit embarrassed by the bad experience we had. the lady servers were very pleasant, but otherwise this place did not have much for it. a gentleman who appeared as a manager could have saved us a welcome word when he woke around, but not so. the restaurant needs a great upgrade of furniture and decor. one of our party said it had not changed since their last visit a few years ago. I chose a toastia. it was a little underwhelming, was made in a machine without personal contact to cook. my year old enkelin produces exciting farewell. this place has potential, but he has not yet realized it.

another nice lunch, eating is so fresh and healthy, there are no chips and burgers cooked here only amazingly fresh healthy eating. I traveled to many countries and eat in first class restaurants, but this is still my favourite place to lunch. no cakes can describe the lemon meringue, it is delicious that owners do not scrimp on portions like many restaurants. I'll be back soon.
