Shockingly bad, the place was packed with people so I make this review unsure if it?s really that bad or just a bad night. But I can say with certainty that it is not worth the price. No unique flavours, no large portions, no aesthetically pleasing dishes. Curiously the place is absolutely full of patrons. We ordered an assortment of things and each was worse than the next. The pot pie was just pot pie filling poured onto a place with a small square of puff pastry on top.
This disappointing experience was a surprise. We've dined at Stonewood since it opened. We had the pretzel bread and Bleu cheese chips as appetizers and both were very good. The entrees were where the hell went downhill. The chicken pot pie was delicious, as always. The scallops and shrimp were also good. But... The Tuscan chicken was dry, the green beans undercooked and overly peppery, and the potato medley was, for lack of a better word, just gross. You could basically
1st time here and the dining experience was good ???? We went on a Saturday evening and was told it would be a 45 minute wait. We were okay with that. It took about 10 minutes for us to be seated (we took first available and ended up sitting inside). I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass with asparagus and corn risotto with a Blackberry Crush (Blackberry Mojito). My husband ordered the Pork Chop and a Maple Old Fashioned. The drinks were exactly what we expected (tasty) ????
I would give 4.5 stars if I could. Order by phone for takeout as we don't eat inside restaurants anymore. We ordered the Tuscan Chicken the fried shrimp along with a wedge salad, chocolate cake and orange cake. You could tell everything was prepared from scratch and when ordered. Nothing frozen or microwaved here. The sauces,salad dressing whipped cream were fresh made. Definitely will be going back
