Steffens Cafe - Table reservation

the hotel restaurant steffens is centrally located in hahnenklee. we did not live there, this review only refers to the restaurant. it is a spatially generous place that also offers for private solemnities. I felt the space as something impersonal. when I think of the restaurant, the conceptual “orderly” pushes me: neatly salty, clean food quality, neatly acting personal, ordinary bourgeois prices. was very tidy that you were given a little dessert to each court. overall a recommended, but not necessarily euphorically correcting local.

Last night at the Hotel/Cafe Steffens. The restaurant is quite large and very well visited. You will be quick and friendly at the reception and the ladies will give everything so you can quickly get a seat. The rooms are friendly and clean, despite stress and strong occupancy of the tables (all caution super) The staff is firm and always friendly, we would have asked for the crowd in the evening.

Almost perfect. But unfortunately it's almost. We had reserved our table by phone at 7:00. Everything works great. Unfortunately, 20 minutes before the order have passed. Thirty minutes before the food came. Overall, we spent almost 2 hours in the restaurant, which is simply too long with a child. If it goes faster, there's the fifth star. The food was fantastic. Large portions and tasteful.

I recommend this cafe restaurant. The food tastes great. I had a grill on the first day, and the deer roast on the second day. I can recommend both dishes. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. Price performance fits all.
