This was and still is my favorite BBQ place in the west burbs. I haven 't been here in about 4 years so i wanted to see if they tasted the same. They did not miss! The BBQ is tender, smokey and juicy! I highly recommend the ribs, the rib tips, definitely the wings and burnt ends. This is real BBQ and they are smoking. If you like fake oven cooked with super fall off the bone, this is not the place. If you order on a holiday, I recommend you place an order online because they can be overwhelming crowded. I ordered online a day before Father 's Day and still had to wait an extra 45 minutes. Any other day I 'm sure the wait isn 't as long, but be please aware. (The only reason I rated the service a 4 is because the young lady at the counter had me come back 3 times before my food was ready. It was supposed to be ready at 1pm and originally I was 20 minutes early. She couldn 't give me an accurate pick up time. They told me each time come back in 15 minutes instead of just saying hey we 're behind and yours will probably be ready closer to 1:30pm to 1:45pm. Other than that the staff here is always super nice!
Absolutely the best BBQ place I have ever been to! Granted, I have only been to 12 to 20 or so BBQ places in my entire life but this place makes them all seem bad to lackluster. They have this really awesome sweet BBQ sauce too. I forget the name of it but it's awesome. When I go there next I am going to see if I can buy some for home use because it's just that good! It's been a long time since I was there but I recall getting a combo platter and loving it. I plan on going back to there in the next week.
I ordered the 2 meat platter with Brisket and pork ribs. The ribs were hard and overcooked. The brisket was tender but had little seasoning. The sides were coleslaw and fried mac n cheese. The coleslaw was hot due to them being packed next to hot items. The mac n cheese was soggy but tasty.
Burnt ends great. Sauces Fantastic. Price is overboard. Sides alright. Brisket good. Portions decent. Problem I had was the ribs. Many places have better ribs. Just very very dry. It be 4 star if it wasn’t for those dry ribs. I’ll definitely be back for the Burnt ends!
