I visited this place on a Monday night at about 21:30. They claim to specialise in steaks, I treated myself to a filet -rare. The waiter was less than attentive, though not completely ignorant. The steak arrived and was the most peculiar texture. I was able to pull it apart with my fork and did not need the steak knife with which I had been furnished. I would describe the texture as 'pappy ' and really rather unpleasant. The salad I had from the salad bar was not good either. The lettuce was brown at the edges and everything was chilled to the point of flavourless. The hotel I was staying at across the road were very surprised at my experience as they have never had a bad report from the place.
Went for the 'all you can eat ' buffet. There was the option for a selection of meat and salad to have as a starter and a choice of desserts for later. The main event was very tasty with a good choice of meats, some roasted, some grilled and some in sauces. Lots of veg and potato options as well. Staff were very friendly and attentive and the beers were also very reasonably priced. Definitely a much better value option than the main menu if you 're not after anything in particular.
we like to go there with friends or with the whole family. we also celebrate our Christmas party there. the service and prices are really good. it doesn't matter when, we go for lunch, we go for dinner, sometimes with business partners, all like it, you can choose if you want the buffet or a la carte, not every day.
Doesn't look so great from the outside. But inside it is nice and comfortable. The service was quick and the food excellent. I would happily go here as a solo outing. Some may find the food a little salty but that ous the local style compared to the UK.
