State and Main - Table reservation

We went there for dinner, three adults. The server seemed pretty good, but something went wrong in the process.We ordered our dinner and apps. The apps came quickly but dinner was no where to be found. So we just chatted and waited and waited. Then we finally had to say something to the server. The response was "oh it's busy on the patio, it will be just another 5-10 minutes. So we waited and watched lots of food coming out, but not ours.Finally it came, an order of fish n chips, chicken fingers and a soup.Think about it, how long would it take to make this up in the kitchen, 10 minutes Max.Guess what, the chips on both plates, yep - cold.The manager came out after I complained and brought us some hot chips.Sorry the experience has been spoiled.The food isn't really great anyway so I don't think we will go back again.

The menu offered many different entrees as well as salads. One of our friends has a gluten allergy so it was nice to see a menu that offered numerous choices for her to pick from. It was a Thursday night so we also got a bonus of ordering a bottle of wine for half price. Wonderful food and wine!

We went for breakfast on a Sunday. Two members of the group got eggs benedict. it was cold and unappetizing. The toast that came with the other breakfast was greasy and hard. We were all disappointed, and will most likely not return.

Busy place and we were there on a weekday. Lots of local patrons. Lots of TVs around the room so can be a little noisy. Service was prompt, wine was reasonably priced. Fish Tacos were great.

The food here is fantastic!!! Everything in the menu is delicious! Staff goes above and beyond expectations! I love it here!!!
