I'm a sucker for Fried Chicken. It speaks to the Seoul of a Korean person lol. With that being said My son and I actually stumbled upon this place by accident. We were actually looking to go to The Counter but they were permanently closed (Say Whaaaat?! .Since it was our first time here our person behind the counter was very thorough explaining everything and asked if we wanted all the things on our order. He also followed up with us which is a nice touch. They also have ordering kiosks if you want less human interface.I like how they have an interesting twist on their menu. They have the right amount of selections to choose from. I was really tempted to try the Seoul Star or the Nashville Hot Chicken Sando but I'll save that for next time. I ended up getting the Cali Bacon and my son got the chicken wings. The Cali Bacon had the usual lettuce, pickles, tomatoes and a real interesting mayo with liquid smoke and a dash of sugar and pepper. It added a nice flavor profile to the sandwich. One cool feature of this place is that you can choose between the flats or drums when ordering wings. I thought that was kinda cool, especially for my son. He didn't care though lol. We both ordered fries but it was actually too much food and we wasted an order of fries. Had I known I would order just 1 fries as I really don't like wasting food. They also had a few chick salads which looked amazing. Order neighbor next to us ordered one and she was looking like she was enjoying it. Again, a decent sized serving.Their drink selection is pretty cool too. It's sourced from a local alameda based small batch beverage company. They had interesting soda flavors but I went straight for the Peach Iced Tea which is one of my favorites next to... Beer. One of the things I really appreciated was the bright, clean atmosphere. They did a good job designing the interior with clean tile, bright to medium woodgrains and splashes of yellow in both signage and tile. The last interesting point is the the bathrooms are external. It's right next door which isn't a big deal. This location is in an outdoor mall environment, hence the external bathroom.Overall a great place and I'll definitely be back to check out the Korean style sando and a salad. Enjoy!

I've been here twice now. Service was not so great, both times. The last time there I was sitting outside and supposed to get a text when my order was ready. Mind you I had already gone inside to ask for the drinks of my order and they were scrambling to even find my order. Then they put my food on the counter and left it to go from frag and hot to warm. Why didn't they come get me or bring it to me? By this time after the whole lost order drink thing I would have thought they'd be on top of things. Anyways the food is decent, and slightly over priced probably to cover the overhead. I'm not in a hurry to come back, but at least I'm open to it.

Wanted to try this place for some time. Stumbled upon this location while Christmas shopping. When I walked in the door, I saw the self-serve ordering kiosks. That bummed me out. I did see that they also offered counter service, so I elected for that. There were no employees in the ordering area. But as soon as I stepped to the counter, a woman walked up to take my order. She answered a couple questions with a genuine smile on her face. I was truly impressed by the thought that went into this restaurant concept! Sauces were great, gluten-free options, and a great build-out.
