Very competent Club Style buffet, with menu focused upon Asian Cuisines. Well it is, after all, the most popular cuisine in OZ.We went last Wednesday for lunch, when the heavens opened up, and a deluge flooded to road outside, but we were warm and satisfied after eating our fill of roast pork, soy chicken, lemon/honey chicken, fish cocktail, beef and black bean, various dim sims, sushi, salads noodles, roast beef / lamb, pavlova, pecan pie, chocolate torte, ice cream, jelly and coffee. What a great way to spend $16.10 (less for Seniors!)
Visiting family for christmas. Was really looking forward to the buffet after hearing how good it is. We normally go to Merrylands. Large crowd lining up so recommend to get there early like we did. Service was great, however food disappointing. Not much variety and mostly Asian food. Deserts were average, where was the apple crumble? Very limited deserts. I don't normally leave bad reviews and I can't say it was awful,just compared to other buffets in the area it was very average.
We have visited a few different star buffets and this one previously whilst on holidays and have always been pleased! great variety for food always fresh and restocked the only downside this time was it was very busy for a Sunday night and we were squashed in like sardines and very very noisy so not very good atmosphere but if you want a fantastic buffet at a great price and don't care about seating or atmosphere this ones for you
This was, in my opinion the best Star Buffet location maybe 2 years ago. Been back at least 3x in the last year (most recently, yesterday dinner!.. and food is terrible. Beef roast is overcooked, most of the asian food is either bland or covered in heaps of breading. Heaps of cold food... who the f*#* eats cold button mushroom??!! The chocolate pudding... had to spit it out, that bad.
