Stadtcafé in Bad Staffelstein is one in an endless row of German bakery-cafés, where you can st down and enjoy a drink and quality food, preferably German pastries; German bakeries are masters in creating seductively delicious cakes and pastries. It was glorious weather; we sat down at an outdoor table and enjoyed the output of the Stadtcafé, while watching the soothing Bad Staffelstein street life. Service of the waitress was perfect, almost motherly. We enjoyed the sit-down at the Stadtcafé very much.
Wir waren um etwa 16h an einem Freitag zu Besuch, die Kuchen- und Tortenauswahl war zu diesem Zeitpunkt bereits sehr mager. Cappuccino, heiße Weiße, Apfelstrudel und Prinzregententorte waren gut, jedoch wäre es schön gewesen, zumindest ein "Entschuldigung" zu hören zu bekommen, wenn die Torte vergessen worden ist. Die Atmosphäre ist eher piefig, dafür gepflegt. Der Seifenspender in der Toilette ist schmuddelig und lädt nicht gerade dazu ein, ihn zu benutzen.
Service and dishes are on local standard and lacking from professionalism, but still acceptable and fair priced. Quality of cafe is lacking by the amount of used cafe and cold if you forget to ask for heated cups.
Ich war mit einer Freundin zum Frühstück verabredet. Das Frühstück und der Kaffee waren sehr gut, auch die Bedienung. Zu bemängeln habe ich die Toiletten. Möchte aber auch nicht näher darauf eingehen.
