A cultural and gastronomic icon of Augusta. Nothing politically correct or incorrect about it. The food is good great, the beer is cold and service is awesome. Welcomes all comers as long as you pay cash. If you are looking for Chic' this is NOT your place. This place is the real deal !
This place has spoiled me on burgers. If I get a burger anywhere else I 'm dissapointed and end up telling people that 'sport 's center has better burgers! ' It 's a dive bar, but that 's part of what makes it great, a lot of character in the place. Cash only, so keep that in mind.
Love this place so much and the people. Go here if you want good food and a friendly place. Best burgers! And check out steak night on Wednesday nights. Cash only, so come prepared. Smoking, but so worth it.
If you've not eaten here, that is a screw up you can fix. The food is incredible and the folks that work there are the most genuine human beings. Highly recommend a burger or hit them for steak night!
