This restaurant is in a little old medieval building that is modernized inside with white banquettes along the walls and therefore makes a larger appearance than it is. We had an early supper there and I had the Jaegerschnitzel which is a pork cutlet with...mushroom sauce. It was a huge portion and comes accompanied by applesauce and fries. The only vegetable available was a a zucchini medley and I had that instead of the ubiquitous fries. A salad was also included. Otherwise vegetables are not in demand.......We also tried some potato latkes as an accompaniment and they were very good. Food was generally greasy but good. They apparently specialize in steaks beef but since I can get them better in the USA I didn't try any. It is old fashioned German cookery. They also have lots of different typesbrands of beers
Located in the center of Bad Hersfeld, this place serves delicious steaks - nicely seasoned and of delicious taste. Although I wouldn't recommend buying red wine, Merlot - drinking it left me with a bad taste. Better if you try something from beer menu! Service is very attentive.
Very good steakhouse. Then beef is very tasteful, the fries were perfect and with fresh salad. Excellent service. My best recommendations
I just had a great rib eye steak, salad was ok, but not great. I would visit this place again ( and have the same!)
