Spoke Steele - Table reservation

We cane here on Valentine's day and were a bit disappointed. The location and atmosphere were great, and the drinks were good, but the overall quality of the food was poor. I ordered lamb chops mid-rare and the came out shriveled, overcooked and haphazardly thrown on the plate. The rice pilaf was crunchy and the fries were poorly seasoned. My girlfriend's steak was bland and her potatoes overcooked. The server said the kitchen was running behind, but it would have been better to wait than to have them rush out poor quality food.

I don’t know what happened to this place. The last time we went here, it was delicious, small plates. This time, the only good item was the cheeseburger. The menu was unappetizing, and the food was bland and unseasoned. The mushroom bisque was bland. The scallops were tasteless. The bruchetta was also lacking any flavor. Our waiter, Franklin, was attentive, and we had good service. My gin drink was good. It was oddly quiet in the restaurant, and so very cold. This is not the Spoke and Steele we remembered.

Decent enough place, seems clean. Slow moving for sure. Food portions were decent. I don’t feel like I got my money’s worth. I’m the pork chop was delicious but the accompanying potatoes were somewhat dry and a bit tough. Server was very friendly!! Macrons were delicious!!

Food and service were terrible. I’ve had better meals and service at Applebee’s at and 1/8 of the price. Wouldn’t recommend or return!

Excellent service and delicious food. Highly recommend for date night.
