Spice Island - Table reservation

fantastic food and wonderful service. we have recently booked and we will definitely come back. great choices on the menu for food and drinks. the meal itself was beautiful and the cocktails of my wife were worth every penny, very well presented and they tasted fantastic. this is a really nice restaraunt that feels cozy and welcoming and the personal cares really well for them. you feel safe as if your use is appreciated.

decided last minute to book a meal here and we were so satisfied with the service. greeted with smiling faces, easy to order drinks as this can be from the table. for the first time the staff was happy to sit and explain how everything worked, including the menus etc. real little jewel in barnard castle, wanted to tap, but had no cash to handle, so remember to take cash as the service really deserves a tipp!

still here after eating. absolutely amazing. the best I had for years. we just got the end of the lunch menu and they were very accentuated to put us in the poor and set us up a table outside on the sun. family of 4 we have keema loaded chips, jalfrezi, corma and tikka naanwich. pity that they do not deliver to my hometown. this was not passed by

babul is a local gem! such a large menu with much to choose and amazing friendly service and trendy decor. and the cocktails. if they went down very well! I can't recommend this place enough. I'm sorry I didn't get curry pictures, just the cocktails! we are coming back in definitiw!

Wonderful restaurant with very friendly staff, really lovely eating area and wonderful food. The ordering system is very high tech, but easy to use. Kudos on that as it's not easy to do. Highly recommended if you're in Barney and are looking for something a bit spicy.
