Friends said this restaurant was good so decided to give it a try. It offers more varieties on food selection and the food is comparatively cheaper (many noodles are under $10) than many other Vietnamese restaurants. Surprisingly the spring rolls are made of rice paper instead of Chinese spring rolls paper, really authentic, though they need to improve their deep frying skills. They also offer Bun Bo Hue which is only available in certain authentic Vietnamese restaurants somewhere in Forest Lawn of Calgary. Service is so-so. We forgot to specify we wanted 3 spring rolls and by default they would give you large size (5 spring rolls), so watch out! My son ordered sliced rare beef and tripe and he was happy there were lots of tripe (compared with other Vietnamese restaurants) but complained the soup base was tasteless. I told him it's better to be too salty with too much MSG. Vermicelli was quite big with lots of meats. If you are around the area, it's not a bad idea to give this restaurant a try and see if you like it. Overall, it's a so-so restaurant.

Well I seem to come across very good Vietnamese eating places, and this one in the main St Albans precinct is no exceptionWe went to lunch with family friends of my wife, and had a nice regular viet noodle soup. We had been here one time before, and found it to be of a good standard. So, when in St Albans again, I know where to go for a good, value meal

I’ve been twice to this restaurant and look forward to going many more times. Fabulously fresh, quality ingredients. No skimping here – prawns are meaty even in the rice/noodle dishes & at low prices to boot! Memorable meals e.g. the Pipis served with dipping donuts! Love this place.

No one smiles here but there are 2 dishes that are really good and worth the visit. Bun Bo Hue and Dry Stir Fry Hor Fun with Beef so far the best in St Albans. Just need to bear with the overworked and unfriendly staff. For the love of good food .....
