I'm sorry I need to update my first review on a lower star review!? first visit I had recommended the auberginen and shrimp salad from my server cha. it was very good and apparently I added sticky rice accidentally (new kitchen)! my server, cha was wonderful and very helpful! 2nd and last visit? a new friend invited to lunch?.our server siri? seriously! was beautiful. but there he is. eating was not properly cooked, spicy and tasteless as well as expensive for what they get! siri recommended crispy prawn rolls app? shrimp was overcooked and tasteless? we have also ordered the grilled veg curry and garnel added? they get 3 for $5! the curry was served flat on an extremely large plate that made it almost impossible to shove it on our plates! very small sweet and a small rice! very disappointing! so we saw large portions of pad thai delivered to the table behind and decided to order one. ours was sparingly comparative and tasteless (also looked like they had forgotten the sosty and some ingredients)? we have 65 dollars? including tax tip, for tasteless, overcooked eating! the place was mostly empty on Friday at 12 noon! we were there 2 hours and they probably served 4-5 tables (including our) in this time! based on this visit I recommend this place still I will be back! I'm sorry that I recommended it to my new foodie friend!
We made reservations for 8:30pm at Soi 4 Bangkok Eatery on a Saturday night. Our table was ready promptly and we were seated immediately. We started with the recommended appetizer which was a special; Curry puffs with chicken. After service recommendation we also had the mustard leaf with shrimp appetizer as well. both appetizers were beyond good. If we had had the capacity we would?ve ordered another round. Thai peppers on the side as well as fish sauce, chili paste, vinegar, and chili peppers. We both had The run time mixed drink as well as a margarita. The drinks were well yeah garnished and we?re priced appropriately. and they were as delicious as they were attractive. We could not decide between the Seabass entrée and the mixed seafood curry. So we got both! cooked to perfection and seasoned beyond what we could imagine. our only disappointment is that it took us this long to discover Soi 4. The staff make you feel like family and the atmosphere is perfect for couples or large groups. This restaurant will not disappoint. I give it a 10 out of 10.
the drinks were delicious and beautiful. the food was well prepared and delicious. the prices were reasonable. the people were friendly and helpful, from the host who gave us to our waitress and the bar tender thank you for their great service.
