"Finding vegan food outside the big cities is a challenge in France. I would have starved in this small town in the middle of the mountains, there were only Fondu and Raclette and the famous Tratiflette from the area. Not even vegan salads where I should be found until I stumbled on this tiny take away restaurant near the supermarket. Word: VEGAN OPTIONS! I came back every day during my stay. What they can offer are: Warm vegan vegetable soup with tasty beets. A vegan herbal wrap A vegan protein rich salad I warmly recommend. It doesn't sound like much, but if you're a stranded vegan, it saves your life! The owner (Stéphanie) is beautiful and knows the fight of food allergies! She knew vegetarianism and veganism and asked me many questions about what they could change or offer to make vegans happy. She was very upcoming and takes her business and costumer luck very seriously. Everything is homemade and local. There are also gluten-free options! P.S.: If you're here, try one of their organic juices! You won't regret it."

Finding vegan food outside of big cities, is quite a challenge in France. I would have starved in this tiny town in the middle of the mountains, there was just fondu and raclette and the famous tratiflette from the area. Not even vegan salads where to be found, until I stumbled upon this tiny Take away Restaurant near the supermarket. The word: VEGAN OPTIONS! lured me in an oh boy, I came back every day during my stay there. What they can offer are: Warm vegan vegetable soup with delicious croutons. A vegan vegetable Wrap A vegan protein rich salad, which I warmly recommend. It doesn 't sound like much, but if you are a stranded vegan, this saves your life! The owner (Stéphanie) is lovely and knows the struggle of food allergies! She knew vegetarianism and veganism and asked me a lot of questions on what they could change or offer to make vegans happy. She was very forthcoming and takes their business and costumer 's happiness very serious. Everything is homemade and local. There are gluten free options too!
