Unfortunately their beef brisket, usually a consistently enjoyable choice, was mushy in texture. Very high fat content and appeared to have been boiled rather then smoked. Could not eat it. The manager offered an alternate choice, which I declined, and he proceeded to charge me the full price. We won't be back for a while. Hopefully they can sort things out.
We just live right up the by the church and we smell it everyday. My mouth just celibates. But the prices have really gone up for lunch specials. So now I only get to eat there maybe once every 6 months. That would be the lunch menu. And I always say we're senior citizens because after all we are senior citizens why not get the discount.
Love the food (especially the turkey). The sides are also amazing (both types of beans, potato salad, Mac n cheese, and coleslaw are my favorites. I prefer sitting at the bar because of the fun, personable, long time bar tender. She always brightens my day. I always bring out of towns guests that want to try great KC BBQ close to home.
Cashier kept $25 gift card instead of applying to balance.. on mother's day.. I worked here 8 years ago. Not the change I expected
