Well, I don't give top bad reviews, buy my experience here was weird. When we ask for our foot, the cashier asked another man to visit us because he could not understand (probably for our hispanic accent). This doesn't matter for us, and the other cashier was nice and gave us our food (he is also the reason why I'm putting a single star). The food was exceptionally bad. I'm pretty sure this is not common, but our meat was literally rotted. That's it. No good foot for us this time. I would probably give them another attempt in the future.
I rarely make the reviews of restaurants because I usually very happy with the food. This is the second time that I was disappointed in the food served by this Smithfield's chicken and I am often here. Now I am aware of the change in food prices and other things, but if I pay $6.39 for a pinch of beans I expect to get. I came home and had more pigs than beans and the few beans I had were hard. The chicken tasted like it was cooked in the old oil. Just wasn't pleasant and I was wasting $33.
Beautiful atmosphere, cool building and good food. The cashier could have been more friendly, but I came for dinner, so I give him a 5-star rating anyway. I have the regular grill plate. Chopped pig, but it was mostly big pieces, more like pulled pig. So tasty, but I got a small cup of vinegar-based sauce, perfect taste and long slim Hushpuppies. Came with potato salad and Coleslaw.
I came in to place a to-go order Chris and Cassie where the sweetest, most helpful people I?ve met in MONTHS!!! The place was spotless even with people dining in! They definitely need a raise!!! The kitchen was buzzing getting orders out while Chris ran around offering refills and taking orders at the register! I will certainly be back again!
