I found today slaughter’s bbq oasis on google when I traveled back to dfw. my father drove the rv and had a little annoyed to find the place. (by fix and food and chaneys tabak). my man and I lived in austin and would travel to lockhart for the grill. slaughter’s is the hand to north texas. I'll be honest and say I prefer slaughters. the cancer maisbrot is amazing, I also loved the beans. large ripening, pulled boar, sausage, but the damp brisket is where it is. slaughter even has its own sauce! we're coming back. definitiw with others. P.S look at the oreo bananenpudding! edit. the owner (manager was super friendly! extra edit. a lot of space for a rv plus train a vehicle.
Absolutely amazing.. My wife I were in town and had been wanting to try it for a very long time.. Best BBQ we had ever tasted 10 fold… Met the owner and struck up a conversation.. He asked if had tried the turkey or ribs.. We said no.. He gave us samples and OMG better than perfection.. Wife and I kept talking about it all the way home.. Whether we are up in town again together or just one of us running errands separately we will be back… Hats off to Slaughters BBQ… Nothing but great things to say about your establishment and hoping for the best in your business… ???
had to travel to the Ford dealer in sulphur springs and was the midday. I'm so glad we stumbled on slaughters bbq. wow! written in tx monthly, so we checked it. try all 3 sauces- original, sweet tangie and spicy. delicious! crawfish cornbread and bean were a meal in itself. finished with a delicious banana pudding. friendly staff and good food!
This has to be the best bbq in East Texas. I went there with a large group of out-of-towners and slaughters showed them why texas is known for bbq. Brisket is top notch and those ribs will change you're life
