Unfriendly staff to begin with, and not enough staff either. The ambience and decor are nice and the menu is enticing but that is it. It gets bums on seats, then you’re committed. After that they couldn’t care less. The food was revolting. We ordered 4 pizzas which were all undercooked, under seasoned, had far too much cheese and tasted grim. There was so much cheese that it had to be scraped off and piled at the side of the plate. A inedible fatty mess. Old, watery, browning iceberg lettuce thrown in a bowl was supposed to pass for a salad. The pasta dish was claggy, overcooked, sticking together with a blob of crème fraiche. It’s hard to believe that a trained chef works there. Children can make better food than this. No waiter came to ask if we were content. We ate very little. When asked at the end of we’d enjoyed our meal we said no and told them why but we’re charged full price. This is just a money making venture with no care or concern for the food. Avoid if you can, although it’s handy for the Ibis next door.
