we just landed and got to our hotel and seen this place was near and open on a strip with few other dining places, unfortunately we went in here my boys had a skewered kebab and chips i had the chicken and chips, thinking safety as we were starving. i don't know what they seasoned the chicken with but if your tastebuds are working you will struggle to eat it, gave us about 8 chips too so couldn't fill up on them, we asked for water as we seen people with bottles on their table and thought 1 would be plenty as we were having wine with the meal, the woman said 1 bottle wouldn't be enough so you should have 1 each ,, then she brought over enough water for a football team, we said what the hell do we want all them for ??? and she wasn't impressed when we refused them overall experience was a joke but it was a rushed decision,,, on the other hand if your reading this we may be able to save you as next door looked really nice food ,,, so we went there in the week (kikirik) think that's what it's called and this place was fantastic food,,, trust me don't be fooled going in shothorn only few feet away from pleasurable food instead of garbage.
4 of us went here for a steak dinner, I had garlic mushrooms to start, they were warm but not hot. When our Steaks arrived we alll looked at each other, 3 of us ordered sirloin and 1 fillet, they were small and very thin, I’d asked for mine medium as did my husband , they were cooked through. There wasn’t enough on the plate to fill an adult , we ended having a desert too as we were still hungry. We won’t return, we found a fantastic steak house near the church, thick cut fabulous steaks and half leg of lamb.
Lovely restaurant. Extremely friendly staff. I had garlic prawns then fillet steak medium) cooked to perfection. Hubby had sweet black pudding then pork tenderloin also cooked to perfection. Friends go here all the time and we came here on their recommendation. So glad we did. Highly recommend.
