We had some luck. Reviews here are pretty bad. My sister went to the Creve Coeur site last weekend after a spa day in Des Peres. We are Korean and have been treated very nicely. We immediately sat in a very busy restaurant. The food was great, we were brought our food quickly and an Asian gentleman even came out to ask us if we were well treated and if our food was satisfactory, he apologized that the table grills did not work yet and to better serve his stomachs, they had special new models installed, the ventilation to remove the smoke, but still waiting for permits from the city. The food was delicious and small cut and the portions were large, we were very satisfied with the service we were provided at the night we were there, many other Asian people were there and seemed happy to enjoy there also food. I hope this is the service and food quality that we can expect with all future visits. It is difficult to find good authentic Korean cuisine, unless you find time or your mother made it, and I am sure that all cultures, Asians and all others would love to make this a frequent hotspot to taste good Korean bbq. We loved our visit! I'm sorry to see all the bad reviews. I don't want this restaurant to leave! We need another good place to eat.
Was hesitant to come here because of the reviews but wow it was a 10/10. We went on a Saturday at 8pm and were immediately sat and immediately served. They have a huge variety of sides and the meat was out in a second. All of the servers were very attentive, super friendly, and efficient (it seemed like they were running a buddy system. Food was amazing, sauces were amazing, everything! They also changed out our grill every ~20 minutes, which was great. Would go again!
The food is great, the vegetables were especially fresh and delicious. I tried the pork belly bibimbap and pork belly with tofu. Both of them were great. Prices for the all you can eat BBQ are quite high, but I'm sure that's probably related to supply during the pandemic. It's too expensive to be a frequent stop, but it was a great treat.
Delicious food and wonderful atmosphere! Start your food on high heat and after a few minutes down for the best taste! Craft your meat while cooking with their sweet sauce!
