I called for a take out order, and was told it would take 25 to 30 minutes . I thought thats was reasonable.....When i did arrive to pick it up it took another 30 minutes, an hour waiting. Then when I did arrived to my hotel, the chicken teriyaky had maybe 5 to 7 pieces of chicken.... the chicken yakisoba the noddles were soggy and glued together... And again, had 5 to 7 pieces of chicken..... The bento sushi was just sad.... My problem here is that I wanted to introduce some japanesse food to my kids and after spending almost 70 dollars I did realize that you can get way better Asian food at the food court .... Anyway, I ended up ordering pizza for the kids.
I went here for lunch with high hopes as I noticed alot of great reviews. When I walked in the door I was kind of taken back by how dingy the place is. So I put that aside and we spoke with the nice waitreas regarding meal options. They did not have many combos to choose from. We decided upon the maritime rolls and 2 other rolls to split between the two of us. We were the only 2 in the restaurant. Our food came in about 20 mins but we were surprised of how little was on our plate. The sushi was good and we did enjoy it but we definitely could have ate more for $45 bucks. I probably wont go back but I am happy I tried it nonetheless.
I went to Sense of Tokyo for the first time for my Birthday, and was back less than a week later. I know I will be frequenting this place many times a month. I highly, highly, recommend the Bento box. The chicken teriyaki Bento is a nice option. The california rolls are so delicious, as well I highly recommend the angry tuna roll. The prices are extremely reasonable and you're pretty much guaranteed a great meal here.
Fantastic sushi. Friendly waiters. I take their Lunch Special Box today, every thing taste amazing. And the miso soup is better than other Sushi restaurant ever. And their waiter make me feel so warm. Good place for lunch at Uptown.
