Danke!!!"

If you are looking for delicious German food in a quiet area just outside the city center, run, don't walk to Seidelei. Patrick is a warm, gracious host and a very talented chef. The small menu is seasonal and the food is familiar but nuanced. My husband loved the silky smooth wild garlic soup and I may have moaned out-loud over the smoked mackerel starter. The steak (on the menu as roast beef, but similar to a NY strip) was flavorful, perfectly medium rare and the accompanying cheesy spaetzle was rich and wonderful. I also could not stop eating the brown bread with a curried cream cheese spread. The meal and service were wonderful and then we adjourned to the small bar for after-dinner drinks (some not for the faint of heart) and chats with locals from the neighborhood It was a lovely, lovely evening. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Munich. Thank you Patrick and team!

At times service in München can be... brusque... If you want to escape that and be treated well, have a delicious meal and leave feeling happy - this is the place for you. Patrick and his chef will take care of you - if there's something you want to know, or have a particular request then all that can be done will be done. Don't be fooled by the 'alpine' theme, which if you have been to some restaurants may lead you to think 'no...' - the food is simply more locally sourced and is prepared expertly - it's not a slab of fatty meat and a lump of carb slammed down in front of you!Food has never disappointed, wine suggestions are well founded. We can't recommend it enough (other than the fear of making it too popular...)

We went here for a family dinner with parents and loved everything about it, the minute we set food in there. The owner greets you friendly upon arrival and helps you with food and wine selection. The place is small and cozy with a beautiful wooden interior. You immediately feel at home :)The menu is small but everything is prepared with great care and tasty ingredients. Some of the best food I ever had in Munich! The philosophy of the owner for his restaurant is simply right. Give it a try!

Immer wieder gerne!
