A little hidden from the town centre so would only know about it from recommendation. Luckily our hotel receptionist recommended this restaurant to us and we ended up going twice in 5 days! He said it was the best restaurant that Kirchberg had to offer and we all agreed. Could get a taxi to it but is walkable (our hotel was the other end of Kirchberg and still only took 15mins). You NEED to book! Very cosy place with lovely waitresses who explain anything to you if you ask. They attempt to translate the specials board into English and have excellent understanding of different languages. When busy the waitresses did get a little flustered and the second time we did have to wait 15 mins before we even sat down despite booking and another 10 mins for our drinks order to even be taken. Despite this, the food definitely makes up for it. The menu has quite a wide range of dishes including pasta dishes (vegetarian options), fish, meat, soups etc. The starters are more expensive than some may hope but they are rather large. I had the ravioli on my first trip which was a vegetarian dish but at only 13.50 it was superb. On my next visit I had the Filet of Char, which came with risotto. The chef without a doubt knows how to pair the main ingredient with the correct side. The 6 other people I was with all had different dishes to each other and different dishes each night and every single dish looked delicious. All food is sourced locally so although you do pay a little bit more the quality of every dish makes up for it. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone
