The setting was nice and the food was okay, but we had a reservation at 7pm and didn't end up leaving until after quarter past 10, despite having two children with us because of the slow, inattentive and generally bad service.The staff were all abrupt and unfriendly, especially the waitress who was looking after our table. One of the meals was incorrect and had to be reordered. We also ordered four desserts and two coffees - none of which came out at the same time, and we had to ask after some of them - they'd forgotten one of the coffees and missed the other dessert off the order. All in all, we must have been waiting over an hour for these. We wouldn't have minded too much but there was no apology over any of the mistakes and they didn't even acknowledge the problem. The only redeeming factor was the lovely surroundings - a nice large outside courtyard with lots of tables which were all full. If the service is consistently like this I wouldn't recommend it.
es sollte vorab reserviert werden, da der schwabenbräu immer voll ist. wir hatten das glück, uns bei anderen gästen an den tisch setzen zu können.die speisen waren jedesmal ausgezeichnet und wie ich finde, auch in einem guten preis/leistungs-verhältnis. hier schmeckt das essen so, wie es auf der karte angepriesen wird. die bedienungen sind auch sehr freundlich und auch sehr flott. der bräu hat eine rustikale einrichtung, wie man es von einem bayr. wirtshaus erwartet. leider konnten wir nicht draussen sitzen, aber der biergarten macht einen sehr angenehmen eindruck.ich kann den schwabenbräu nur empfehlen.
When we arrived it was quite full because of the nice weather. A staff welcomed us very friendly we said we want to sit outside in the biergarten and he told us it was full but he still managed to find us a free table.. The food they offer are typical bavarian not a huge list of choices ( which is a good sign)So i had a pork with the crispy skin and semmel knödle with a cabbage salad included,it was very good!!! The portion was perfect for a one person...So overall it was very good but i gave 4* because the waitress whose serving us wasn't that friendly...
Hach, hier werden Erinnerungen an meine Zeit an der HoFa geweckt. Es ist immer noch so urgemütlich wie damals. Das Team ist super nett und leistet einen tollen, herzlichen und professionellen Service. Das Büffet gestern Abend war bayrisch-genial. Über meinen heiß geliebten Ochsenmaulsalat habe ich mich tierisch gefreut. Hier schmeckt auch der Odl (bayrisch für Gülle, hier aber ein toller Kräuterlikör)Es war so gut, dass ich heute Mittag noch mal fix mit ein paar Abschluss-Schülern und Ehemaligen auf einen herrlichen Marillen-Schmarrn reingeschaut habe.
