Reservation online was easy, but the restaurant stay was unfortunately disappointing. It started that we were placed at a very gracious table right at the entrance but you can't do anything first. We were then, after a short time, at a table in 1. OG set, but we were warned that it was also cold and gigantic. We asked to be re-placed as soon as another table was released. We were assured. However, several other guests who came after us were placed at very much warmer tables. We were put to a table without a draw air for a renewed demand for the second of three courses. There were also blankets that produced a pleasant warmth. On our demand, why we were not supplied with blankets at the beginning of our stay, we were told that there were not enough blankets. The boss told us that because of the Corona pandemic and the associated loss of income, they would have to pay attention to a sufficient occupancy of the tables, the turnover must be correct, so that tables that are somewhat colder and exposed to the air are also occupied. The food was unfortunately also overly long. It took 30 minutes until we got a card, then it took another 15 minutes until the drinks were served. After two hours the main course was served! That's decided too long. A guest at the neighboring table, who came after us two hours, had received his three courses within 60 minutes and was finished with us at the same time. 30 minutes wait until you can place the order. 2 hours waiting for the main course. Zugiger Platz, missing blankets for heating preference for other guests. Never

Food was of good quality, but simple, and the price has completely outpaced this which made us feel “cheated” a bit. Paper napkins and style of serving are not fitting to a €200 dinner for 2. Wine and surprise menu were served with no explanation. Desert was ok but one serving was incomplete, because it was late and they ran out of one of the ingredients… Normally never so negative but it left a bitter aftertaste.

An amazing place. Excellent food I had the 5 course surprise menu. Great selection of wines. Impeccable service. Highly recommended. A must visit if you like good food and wine.

Amazing food, and they were very accomodating of our challenging dietary requirements. The chickpea dashi was one of the most delicious things I’ve ever tasted.

4 course Gourmet dinner with Wine menu at a reasonable price Very nice old building housing the restaurant. Excellent service
