"I have eaten lunch at Sawasdee a few times. The food was pretty good, but not the best Thai I've had. I would try again, but there are other Thai Restaurants around that I'm consistently pleased with. Prices were reasonable, but the service was a bit slower than I would like for lunch time. Amazing Thai food! Could not believe that this place was not already robbed on the happy cow Northshore vegans. Everything was excellent, and they put much love and care in their food. Everything had so much taste. The staff was super and totally accommodating. Have veggie fried rice, vegan drunk noodles, small Tom Kha and mango with sticky rice for $41. The quality was excellent for the price. Edit: we have come a few times since the first review and we have brought our own coconut milk for Thai ice tea, so this is an option. Also came to lunch and the lunch menu had all vegetables and tofu dishes for $ 8.95, plus it comes with a delicious salad with ginger dressing (found out later it contains honey). Edit: After several times we agreed to make Thai ice cream coffee and Thai ice tea with coconut milk that they use in the kitchen Edit 2: have confirmed that they can make at least Panang Curry vegan. I ordered it several times. Updated by previous review on 2020 11 24

I had delivered my food to me. I never saw the restaurant. I was looking for vegan options and used the Happy Cow app. I ordered the avocado rolls with peanut sauce and the Tofu Veggie joy. The avocado rolls were fresh and the peanut sauce was good. The basil bites were really good. The tofu in the veggie joy were great pieces of crispy tofu. The garlic sauce in the plate really coated the tofu and gave it more taste. The dish had a wide selection of vegetables. The jasmine was good.

Quality of the food is excellent, crisp veggies, sauces aren't overly sweet and/ or salty like most Asian. Everything from the stir fry's to the curries are delicious. The servers are prompt and pleasant, and the ambiance is quiet and perfect for date night. Did I mention it's clean!? They obviously take a lot of pride in all aspects of the business.
