We have been coming to Pine Tavern for years. On this visit, we sat on the patio and enjoyed the perfect temperature with a gentle breeze. There were six of us in our group. Unfortunately, the Reuben sandwich we ordered was dry and lacked enough Thousand Island dressing. One member of our party ordered ginger ale and was surprised to find out that refills were not free, resulting in an additional charge for a second drink. We all agreed that the server should have clarified that this was from the bar and not a complimentary refill. Despite these issues, we still had a pleasant time together.
We have been before and really enjoyed it. This time we were disappointed. We were there for a birthday celebration. The process to be seated was very unorganized. Our service was very slow. They appeared to be understaffed.
