Sanderlings Seascape Resort

We have been going there for over years, but may never go back again. On Easter Sunday, a hostess seated us at a table in the shade. I asked that we move to a table in the sun since it was chilly outside. She told us she would check and let us know. Not only did she never come back, but when I went inside to find her she refused to allow us to move, despite several other top tables still being available in the sun. She claimed they were for other guests. When I asked if they had reserved a specific table or if they were even there yet, she said no. Five minutes later, four people were seated at one of the tables in the sun. An hour later, that table had finished their meal and left, while we still had not even received our meals. Once we did receive our meals, my husband's rib eye was like shoe leather and he had to send it back. Meanwhile, the other four top tables in the sun still remained unoccupied and were still empty when we left. Extremely poor business practices!

This review is for lunch. We have been here several times in the past also for lunch, but did not have a great experience this time. Hostess was very friendly and welcoming. Waiter was pretty rude and rushed I averaged the service rating based on these two. The daytime menu has been cut down quite a bit, sadly. I ordered the burger, and the patty was thinner than a child's burger at Mcdonald's!! My husband got the fish n chips. Two small burnt pieces of fish on a bed of fries. Perhaps they were low on supplies at that time, but when you're paying good money, they should warn you of potential shortages. The view is amazing as usual, so ambiance is great. But we'll probably go to another restaurant next time we are visiting

The service was a little less than desired, not very friendly. The food came out lukewarm. I know they are trying their best to get back to a normal dining experience, but we are repeat customers that refer a lot of folks to the restaurant, and we want our friends to have a good experience

They had waiters for many tables. Waited along time for our food. The food was not worth the price. We will not be going back
