We came from the Murray Lake hungry and as our original place to eat we fell across this amazing little restaurant in Ardmore from the beaten route. The food was amazing! It came fast and piping hot! The waitress was super sweet and very attentive. Between four adults and four children we ordered half the menu and everything tasted wonderful! I had the homemade gumbo and it was better than the gumbo I got in the summer in New Orleans! The cheese sticks and Cheddar peppers were hot and fresh! The fried fish slept delicious in your mouth! So happy we decided to eat here! You should.
Man! You have to try the shrimps! The catfish is decent, not the best at all. I don't know how to get these big ole shrimps in this area while they still taste so good. I'd go there, even if that was the only one on the menu. The staff is super friendly and the prices are not bad. If you like me eat, you can expect to spend about $16 $18 per dish, but I order six shrimps and get at least 8 each time.
We decided to try some place different a couple weeks ago hit this place right when they opened on a Friday. I completely understand why they are so busy most of the time. The food was fresh seasoned perfectly, and the staff were friendly gracious. We’ll definitely be back.
Oh, my chickens, the food was so good. In fact, there's an understatement. The waitress was so wonderful and the service had all the southern hospitality I expected and more!
