Salt Marina Del Rey

WE GOT THERE AND NO ONE WAS AT THE DESK. WHEN SEATED THE ROOM WAS VERY DRAFTY AS THE DOOR KEPT OPENING. RATHER COOL EVENING. HOWEVER WHAT SAVED IT WAS WE FINALLY WENT OUTSIDE AND AFTER SOME ARM TWISTING WAS PROVIDED A HEATER AND SEAT NEAR THE FIRE PITS. THAT WAS LOVELY AND COMFORTABLE! BUT NOT WITHOUT A FIGHT. THE FOOD WAS MEDIOCRE AND SELECTION WAS DISAPPOINTING. THE PRESENTATION OF AN OZ FILET WAS A SLAB OF BEEF ON A WHITE PLATE/NO GARNISH JUST BORING. THEN THE FRITES WERE DELIVERED IN A BOWL! OLD FASHIONED WAS OK BUT ABOUT OVERPRICED. ALL IN ALL DISAPPOINTING FOR A SPECIAL OCCASION. RESTAURANT IF YOU ARE FORCED TO EAT INSIDE HAS ZERO AMBIANCE. NEVER WROTE A REVIEW THIS UNSATISFATORY.

Sadly, this is one of the sweetest hotels and the food is great..... but it is sooooo damn loud that the noise level just ruins everything. We got married at this hotel and we would eat here often but if you have to sit inside... forget about it. It is so loud you can't even hear your dinner partner. So unpleasant. We can't go back until we can eat outside again. And even then... so disappointing.

One of our favorite, special occasions, dinning restaurant. Had outdoor dinning, but minutes after, sitting, the wind picked up. Requested to move inside, no problem, our waiter, accommodated. Wonderful evening, great meal.

We had a pleasent late lunch outdoors and enjoyed the fall sun and the space heater. Service was great and the food was good too.

It was ok. Windy with the doors open. Tables and chairs don’t work if your foot
