one to two times in the year goes on the saloberalm, this rustic hut right behind the German border is always a rewarding fast reaching goal. there are several ways to get up. the shortest,but the steepest is from the lake,the most beautiful is from the falkenstein over the cinnamon,and the most quiet is the ascent from the Austrian vils,before the ruined vilser corner.The eating is pleasant, the atmosphere easy and the round view of the tannheimer mountains beautiful. when we were on the feet slide and silvester party, it traditionally goes on the New Year's Day on the alm, that is always an experience.
the salober alm above the allatsee is a really nice excursion destination for a simpler walk. who wants to park directly at the lake, only 5min from the A7. Moreover, you can extend the hut with a nice walk direction vils (with a short visit of the burgruine,) or the 4seenblick. the hut has a few seats and is often quite full especially with good weather, but then you have to slip together. we always like to come.
the ascent is also suitable on the normal web for children's cars, but somewhat boring. walking the shorts between the way, the hike is also a beautiful experience for children without being overwhelmed or bored. so everyone really comes to their cost. the food is delicious, for the children there is a beautiful playground and the 4-sea walk is still a nice small one on top.
great location. super friendly staff. eating is really good. my recommendation: the lumpensupp. a sausage salad with red, white pressack and cheese. super good. there is everything from ice, coffee and a giant imperial bull. for kids there is a super playground. for dogs a drink bowl and for shadow lovers enough shady. we are always happy
