We live near this restaurant and had a bad experience with an arrogant and useless head waiter in the past. I complained to the management and they dealt with it. Surprise, surprise he wasn't there on our next visit. So we have been back since and things have improved. It is a bit pricy but the setting, views, standard of service and food make up for this. This time we were a family party of 7 with children and everyone was pleased. We have never had badly cooked or bad food and since my complaint the service has been friendly and efficient. The only problem I had was in making a booking. I rang the day before and got a young girl who obviously wanted to get rid of me quickly and told me they were probably full for the next evening, but she would check and ring me back. Of course, no call came and I had to ring again on the day to be finally told that we could come. I presume from my English accent she thought I was a tourist passing through so it wouldn't matter to put me off. However, as I live across the road, I could be a regular customer in the off season as well. Perhaps more training for people answering the phone is needed?
