Ordered a large pepperoni, sausage and mushroom. Great pizza, service was fine, no complaints...............except when it comes to the cost. That pizza was $41. Wait, what, wtf? $41 for a single large pizza is just insane."

I guess I haven't ordered pizza in a awhile. RT is my favorite of the large chains, I worked there when I was younger and it always looks like not much has changed when it come to ingredients. This location is ok, though inside can be a bit messy during busy times. I get it, like I said I used to work there. Getting orders to customers is a priority in terms of keeping them satisfied. I guess my only gripe is they have a $6 delivery charge, then ask for a tip when you complete the order. The delivery guy brings the receipt so you can sign, which again has a space for you to write in your tip lol. I supposed next time I won't tip in the system, and instead hand the driver cash so he can stick it in his pocket. Not gonna take anything away from this location though, they do their best.
When the young African American kid is there working the front amazing customer service. The white kid the exact opposite, always a problem. Apparently it's now customer policy to check IF for card payment including debit. I show a photo of my id he said no so i go to bel air to get cash and a lady is paying for her Oder with a card no I'd needed... he say she had Apple Pay ....so you couldn't have told me that before. If i complete the purchase online with the same card you won't check my ID either just doesn't make since and this was all for a $3.00 order I can't come to this location when he is there it's his tone and have stingy with the packets. Others than him i have had good experience like i said the other kid has excellent customer service.
I like Round Table Pizza, and this is my local store, but they just can't seem to get it together here. The ordering and in-store experience is fine, but when you get home and actually eat the pizza, it's disappointing. Sometimes it's too dry (not enough sauce), sometimes it seems like most of the flavor is just missing (I honestly don't even know how this is possible), and sometimes the pizza just seems like it could get it's butt kicked by even lowly Dominos (which I don't like). When I want good Round Table, I have to go to the Citrus Heights store (Sunrise Antelope). That store is the delicious EVERY TIME.
We live in Citrus Heights and this is our go to Round Table place. Quality and service is always good and reliable here. I actually asked for one pizza to be remade and they did it to perfection and we're so kind about it all even offering a complimentary drink while I wait. Definitely love the staff, environment and the authentic round table taste. Thanks again to the staff for being so kind and generous for the remake. You guys are all amazing.
