Disclaimer: we live in Colorado so ANY sushi in Alaska is better than what we normally get. That said, we found the fish at Ronnie Sushi to be very fresh and they had some great combinations in their rolls. We ate here twice, it was...that good. Plus, the staff are super nice and they even treated us to a Korean aperitif. Also, they made a mistake and gave us double order of our appetizer but didn’t charge us for it. There are lots of options on the menu so even someone who doesn’t eat sushi can find something delicious.
I’ve been to Ronnie’s probably a dozen times. Every meal I’ve ever ordered here was delicious and the service was always good. They have a delicious Asian fusion food and a enjoyable atmosphere. If you want to be treated to a presentation done at the...bar where you can watch the sushi chief craft delicious rolls. Otherwise they have comfortable booth seats and some tables with chairs.
Highly recommend; the atmosphere is cozy and the decor is really eye catching. Friendly staff too, they made sure to check up on my friend and I while we were waiting/eating. The Sushi is spectacular and so is the presentation, even the dessert I got Mango ice cream with tempura came out wonderfully. My friend really enjoyed their hot Saki too so all in all wonderful time.
Ronnie’s is solid with good food and service. A favorite of my husband and daughter, Ronnie’s is one of our go tos for Asian food and sushi. While it is always busy, we have never had to wait for a table. This time I tried...the Ronnie tower which is a crazy awesome concoction of steak, crab and shrimp tempura. Delish!
