Romeo's Italian

This is my first time writing a review, which goes to show how much of an extremely bad experience this was. My date and I reserved a table for pm, but had to wait until pm to be seated what is the point of making a reservation ahead of time for Valentine’s??? While we were waiting Asian couple here, they seated the white and Latino couples first, who came after us! Then, when we were finally seated, they did not even serve us bread that is customarily served to all the other guests. We requested for it four times to our waiter and we still did not get it. Our main course filet mignon had strands of hair in it. Disgusting! We showed it to our waiter, who replaced our dish with some thing else because they ran out of filet mignon, but it was way too salty to eat. They said they cannot serve dishes from the usual menu. So, we were forced to accept the Valentine’s Day menu, which would have been fine except that they ran out of the food listed that they promised as part of the set menu. They ran out of the main course as well as the dessert, but still made us pay the full price for the set menu that was missing several pieces for people in total. We could have enjoyed a way better meal and experience at a Michelin restaurant for This was the worst culinary experience of our entire life. We still tipped well. Also, we wasted a total of hours for a four course meal that was tasteless, had hair, expensive, took way too long for the quality we were served and extremely poor service. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Also, the set menu ONLY has ravioli and no other pasta option!!! How is this an Italian restaurant when it does not serve pasta ???

Wednesday was the first day of inside seating in NYC. We decided to dine out because it is my wife's birthday and she is retiring soon. As noted, we are an older couple and the staff sat us inside and away from the others dining inside. The waiters wore their masks at all times and, although attentive, did not unnecessarily linger at the table. The food and wine were Osso Bucco, Veal and a Brunello di Montalcino. We had dined here before but they really did a superb job this night. A truly great addition to the neighborhood

As always, perfect food and service. Eating outdoors has never been my choice. We ate outdoors and really had an amazing time. The waiters at Romeo’s definitely do an outstanding job. Thank you!!!!
