"A great place to have a quite drink with friends while looking at the ocean. Food is nice and simple ( pub food/ or coffee + cake) but very delicious. It is open all the time. The atmosphere is cosy and the view spectacular. They have fabulous cocktails and boutique beers, if you want something a little different. Do yourself a favour and visit if heading down to Kingston beach."

This could have easily been a five star review... the food, drinks, prices and ultimately the location/vista of this gem were outstanding... but on a 'not too busy' day (we were one of about five small tables), it took over an hour to get our lunch. Fortunately we weren't in a major rush, although we could have used that time to look at other attractions in the area... finding ourselves rushing to the airport after what we thought would be a 'quick' lunch. To the venues credit, the lovely barman said he was 'the only one on'... but a business like this in this location would have to consider if it was worth opening when the credibility and reputation of the establishment rested on extended wait times. If you aren't in a rush... this place is awesome...

I dropped in for a beer one afternoon. Fantastic choice of boutique beers. I had a Les salins I think it was which tasted like a drop of chocolate. Great for one but had to try another. Next one was a zesty one and the staff were great. Went back the next day and had a couple of friends join me. We had the arancini and some wedges which were fine. Also tried some more beers and found one I could have drunk all day. (I didn't). Great location and I can understand why they won tassie bar of the year in 16. Well done guys.

If you want to socialise with like minded people and have a REAL cocktail then go to Robbie Brown's on Kingston beach. This place is run by properly trained professional staff, the atmosphere is really friendly as are the fellow customers. You can get food, boutique beer selection and join the Robbie Brown's Club at no cost , so now I get a discount on nearly everything. It's a venue to enjoy with friends or family, and as I said these guys know how to make real traditional cocktails. If you doubt me try it .

Went on a Monday night mainly because not many places were open. We had heard mixed reviews so weren't sure what to expect. It was great! We had the back room to ourselves and the cocktails were absolutely amazing. I had one from the menu and the other two went with 'dealers choice' and they were all fantastic. The food was not too bad, loved the gluten free pizza and apparently the chips were great too.
