Ristorante La Locanda

I made a reservation for 7:30. It was my son's birthday. We also stayed at the River Crab Hotel. We sat at 7:45 am. At 8:05 a.m. nobody had come to our table. Had to ask for water and 8:15 a boy brought us water and said he would send a waitress. 8:30 no waitress got up yet and asked the hostess to send a waitress please. 8:40 no one yet. Each waitress distributed the table like we weren't even there. I was so upset we got up and left the restaurant and went somewhere else. There were four of us and my son's birthday was totally ruined !!!!! I have never treated this badly in a restaurant in my life. I will be sure to tell my friends about the terrible service we received. NO apologies for this kind of service !!!!!!!!!

We had a great time on the River Crab on July 4th. The weather was spectacular and we decided to sit outside. It was perfect - the yellow umbrellas and the blue sky and water made a calm environment. Our waitress was attentive and met all of our needs. The food was excellent and we hated to go. We will definitely be back and I got the word out about this place. Watching the boats on the water is a huge plus. We hope we can now return to a sailboat ride and lunch which is offered during the week.

4th of July weekend; Sunday brunch. The service was exceptional (Maria) and the food was above average. Great view of the river and boats; Sitting on the deck is best. The food would get 5 stars if everything was identifiable and the roast beef was carved thinner. Everything else; Great !

This is our favorite Italian restaurant. The Veal Osso Bucco is fantastic. I tried the Bigoli special with braciole and Sausage. Great! Not to be missed.

My uncle raved about La Locanda and now I understand why . The restaurant is nicely decorated.
