Ristorante Al Porto

Normally, this restaurant is deservedly full most nights, so reservations are usually essential. However, last Thursday, only a few diners were present. That made for the perfect private dining surroundings that we needed for a sensitive business discussion. Our table, tucked away in a corner...and partly screened, was ideally placed. The room is pleasantly furnished and the seating was comfortable. Service was pleasant and professional. One of my companions had truffle ravioli, which she said was excellent. Another ate octopus, which he really enjoyed. It was served in a very tempting style. I ate very good veal saltimboca and the kitchen willingly provided my favourite Spanishstyle roast potatoes with it, instead of the standard side dish. Our recommended wine was wellmatched to the food for all of us. Quantities were enough for us not to want desserts. This is a nice winter venue, but its location on the waterside and its outside terrace suggest that summer dining would be a scenic, as well as a satisfying, experience

I ate here for the second time last week. What a treat! The food is expertly prepared and is a true taste of Italy! We had a large group business dinner and so sampled many starters and entrees, family style. Without exception, every dish was...better than the one before it! A true highlight was the grilled octopus ragout with cannellini beans—that by itself with crusty bread would have been enough! The seafood was wonderful and the pasta unforgettable. From the first forkful to the last sip of Grappa, magnifico!! I can’t wait to return

I've been during one business trip invited by colleagues. I was not really fan of the arty decoration but the Italian food was really excellent. From the starters to the desserts, zero errors. Even the Chianti was good once at temperature and aereted. The service...was fast and serious. I obviously recommend

I had my birthday meal here with a lovely view of the water and an excellent truffel parmesan pasta dish. We were personally greeted by the owner and chef and were made to feel very welcome. And very luxurious interior without being over the top....Elegant and cosy. Can't wait to go back

We had a VERY nice diner. Salmon with vestibles. My wife had octopus and langutines. My Son a VERY good spaghetti with King praws. The personell was friendly, if You want to eat real itlian food go to this restaurant
