Just avoid this place, the fun teppanyaki experience is not worth the pain of eating here. I have a lot of empathy for waiting for staff and hosts. Different situations come up and sometimes there are times of inaccessibility or extended waiting times. I am willing to forgive most mistakes or problems with just a slight communication. But here you are best mistreated and worst lied. In our case, we had a reservation for our party, and we were told that the table will soon be clarified. We waited for about 15 minutes before we checked in again. We were told that our table was ready and only needs to be clarified. This goes on and forth an hour after our reservation. Every time the staff looks like we're sitting in the next 5 minutes. And we should have gone out after about 30 minutes. But when we finally had enough after the hour, we started to go when we were knocked down and gave a table. Our food then did not go on to be cooked for almost 30 minutes, to what time it is 9 and it is now almost no one in the restaurant. Our food is cooked before us, we have a ok time with the sourness and hunger of the last 2 hours, but still a person in our party does not get the food they ordered from the kitchen. Once the last dish arrives, everything is cleaned with the restaurant when the disease begins to kick. 4 of our party got a kind of food disease. To summarize everything, avoid at all costs. This place is ridiculous. Note: the meal that did not arrive until the end was comped but still this gets this 1star review because it is quite my worst restaurant experience to today, esp for $30 to $50 per person.
After the movie quickly bite about 20:30 on Wednesday. Not really busy went to the bar to order a drink. No bartender. Not recognized, so went over to Sushi Bar to check menu still Noone to order a drink. Sushi guy called someone twice after he got my wine, Sushi type made my order right away. But I had nothing to eat with it, so I had to ask for utensils, Weinmann brought me a fork, but no napkin. Then the busboy had to ask for a napkin. I would understand the bad service if they were busy or if it was for dinner or a weekend, but the lack of several steps, visible at a slow night with plentiful staff, my first time in this restaurant was service very bad
Boring, Sad and Depressing?. Don't come to Happy Hour if you have a bad day, it'll just get worse. Drinks are released for HH?. Eating takes forever and in a lonely, unwanted atmosphere you feel like you on an abandoned island. Luckily I was with my husband, so he made it nice. But if I'm here with my employees or colleagues, we'd have a bad memory of always talking about. In any case, it would not recommend. Sad bcs I like the Kaleidescope Mall. I wish it was more popular. But Riptides ambience and service could contribute to the mass of Kaleidexodus?
By far the best sushi I've ever had?. If you love all their special roles, you won't find them in other Sushi places. I live closer to San Diego, but the ride is worth it. I cannot choose a favorite because they are all my favorites. The drinks are also great! Haven?t tried the brunch, but it looks fantastic.
