This little place is amazing, it serves great tapas everything is freshly cooked everyday, they don’t have a menu as everyday it serves different tapas, we come here most days as it’s just across form our hotel, but seriously if you want to experience the real authentic Spanish tapas come here NOT tapas alley as it’s only geared up for tourists, bar Rioja is definitely worth a visit, it’s owned by a husband and wife and they are both lovely people they speak very little English but if you point they will understand what you want, it’s very cheap and is always full of Spanish people. If like me you like your coffee ask for cafe Bon Bon it’s a little expresso in a glass with condensed milk you mix them both together and drink (you can have this drink hot or over ice both ways are delicious) it’s very sweet so no need for sugar, I’ll definitely be back here in the future thanks very much bar Rioja see you on our next visit
Un bar de los de siempre, de barrio, acogedor y carismático por como lo llevan la pareja de Murcia y la Sra. del mismo barrio . Abierto desde las 7h para un buen y suculento desayuno las tortillas recién hechas ya no se encuentran en ningún otro lugar hasta las 23 '30 sin parar y sin respirar porque la mañana se les junta con el aperitivo, el plato del día, el café, la merienda y por la tarde-noche con los montaditos, las raciones de ensaladilla, magra con tomate o la espléndida y jugosa carrillera en su punto de cocción. Años y años de trabajo y esfuerzo acompañados de un buen hacer. Totalmente recomendable, aunque no vayan con la intención de tener un trato ejemplar..., es un bar de barrio .
