Sushi rolls need work. Loose and falling apart. Lack of knife skills were apparent in the fish that topped the roll-looked very choppy. Pieces of the sushi roll were cut inconsistently. Flavors were there but just messy. Their ticket system was a mess. 5 times someone other than our server tried to deliver food to our table that wasn't ours. Meanwhile, our order was lost and we waited over 30 minutes for our appetizer which was just edamame. The only positives were our server, Nanie who was very pleasant and apologetic and their specialty old fashioned cocktail. Maybe this was a bad night. I'll consider giving them another try but only because I'd love to have their old fashioned again.
Well the appetizers were as usual very good but the chicken cho mein was really bad. No taste some small pieces of dried up green onions, not enough sauce with taste and chicken wasn't really good. We have had this there before and it wasn't the same this time. I told the waitress about this at the end of the meal and she said they are people back in the kitchen that are in training. Well I guess someone should be watching them to make sure they are doing things right.
Had reservations for a birthday dinner, 20+ minutes before a drink/food order taken, food was tasteless, , the drinks didn't show up for another 20+ minutes, just a horrible dining experience! Will never go back, so disappointing, especially since my sister drove from Bend to help me celebrate my birthday. Do not waste your time and money at Rim At the Grand Sierra Resort!
Service wasn't great. The attitude coming for the wait staff was disappointing for a few reasons. For example, when asking question about sashimi and possibly having more than one fish was told “I don't make the rules”. Would've honestly preferred a fake approach to seeing if my request was possible at the least.
