My friends and I went here for the half chicken and chips on Thursday evening, when the food arrived it was luke warm and swimming in a very salty gravy. On returning home that night 2 of our group started with griping stomach pains, nausea and violent diarrhoea, this continued for the whole of the next day and evening, in fact one of our party has still not recovered 3 days later. I can only assume that this food poisoning was due to the fact that the chicken had been pre-cooked and re-heated but only to tepid temperature. The chef seemed to be more interested in getting his TV up and running, smoking and drinking than what was going on in his kitchen. Needless to say we will not return nor will our many friends in this area.

Went for dinner. Have a house nearby so have been many times before. Roast chicken used to be served freshly cooked from the Rota oven. Ours was clearly pre cooked, dried up and partially 're heated with a vile gravy over it. We should have not eaten it. I did tell the waitress that it wasn 't good and that the chef seemed more interested in smoking drinking and his wide screen TV than what was happening in his kitchen. No-one seemed bothered and we left. All three of us have been ill with severe diarrhoea and 3 days later I am still not recovered. Will never go back until I know that their food hygiene standards have improved. Best to avoid.

This is our local bar/restaurant which has been patronised by us over a long number of years through all its changes of style and ownership.l must say it is currently the worse by far with staff more interested in watching international football on TV than providing any modicum of service or cooking the food properly. We were served reheated food, not properly warmed, the result of which some of our party are still ill with food poisoning 4 days later. NONE OF OUR PARTY WERE NOT POISONED. You have been warned ...

Situated on the dual carriageway between La Nucia and Benidorm it can be easily found. Good car park. Outside eating area, Lounge/coffee area as well as the inside restaurant. Friendly staff. Good food but we went on a Sunday evening and 2 of our requested mains were not available and dessert choices limited, however we would visit again just on a different day and time.Very good prices.
