who likes it in dübendorf (and surroundings) a little more well-maintained, is in the waldsmannsburg in the right place.The restaurant is in the appearance a traditional dining restaurant with good service and many classics on the menu, which are quite modernly interpreted. the wine card offers a nice selection, even if you would like to be listed even more regional wines. tartar is offered in various variants – among others in an advocado variant – but the classic remains of course the variants with beef.In the case of beautiful weather you can sit in waldmannsburg under trees and look at the smoothly enjoyable. but also inside one enjoys, at least from the windows, which is of view.
we (2 more set couples) enjoyed the birthday dinner/ high-time dinner in the waldmannsburg. you have given us a nice table on the window with a view of the smooth. the junior chief, who took over the lead at the beginning of 2017, recommended us the süffigen hausapéro and explained the menu. this is clear and contains something for everyone.The prices are in the upper area, for the large area zürich unfortunately normal!The served food was nicely prepared and very good. the personal has apparently heard the ground for our eating in the evening, because the dessert was served with candles and corresponding chocolate text - very attentive!We are happy to come back!
the garden is beautiful and lasy at a hot day. that is unique. the service is friendly. Unfortunately, however, is hardly gifted with wine or mineral water. the food was partly excellent (lamm,) good but little (egli,) fade (riesencrevetten.) that dessert (herdbeer tiramisu or coupe romanoff) was sweetly prepared and tastefully not special. the coupe dänmark was not even served with real chocolate (12fr!.) but was quite pathetic that on the table there was not even the smallest decoration on the birthday, although this occasion was discussed a week earlier. the price/performance ratio is not true.
arrived at the parking lot I was clear, that comes to me and here I was already but this is probably over 10 years ago. we have a table in the garden on a Saturday night. as apero we had a cuvaison chardonay; appetizer avocato/crevetten, atatar as well as a mixed salate and to the main felchenfilet, leberli as well as thai curry poulet. all were very satisfied with eating and looking out. special was our wine selection, which I would like to recommend: quattromani 2013, merlot ticino!
