Visited this restaurant for a family celebration. The restaurant in Bargteheide has a nice (beer) garden and also a nice interior.We were seated in a separate part of the restaurant and had several waitresses to serve us - it worked well and the service people managed to serve us quickly and in good mood.As we are vegetarians and have visited this restaurant before without being able to eat anything but potatoes and vegetables, we were happy to get a vegetarian-friendly soup at first. I guess we thought the main course would also have a vegetarian/vegan variety, but that was not the case. While the others ate meat with the potatoes and vegetables, we had to stick with the vegetables (cauliflower, broccoli and some asparagues). (Well, not quite, since we brought our own vegetarian steaks - would meat eaters do the same???....).Although this may be a traditional German food-based restaurant, there should be enough vegan/vegetarian people in Germany to provide some nice food alternatives, don't you think?
a nice ambiente first addressed us. the food was unfortunately maximum average ... who expects fresh products and appropriate preparation here will be disappointed. from this reason, the price/performance ratio is not correct here. we were served by three waitresses. the very young lady who took up our order and also brought it was very friendly and attentive.
on the journey we visited this locally by chance.From the outside it already made an inviting impression that continued in the inner. the ordered diners were rich and nicely dressed. the price/performance ratio was good and the staff was very friendly despite high utilisation.
Once again a good diner at Utspann. Good decent German food, lots of meat, vegetables and potatoes @ very attractive pricing. No surprises, always ok so far! Recommended even for very large groups, they can handle.
