Together with friends we had a fabulous dinner at the Spedition. The menue is quite interesting, typical Swiss dishes but also some dishes with an Asian touch a very nice mixture. What we really liked and is no where written on the menue, you can order half or smaller portions. The green green salad for a starter was absolutely yummy and can be recommended if you fancy a salad of a slightly different kind. Service is very friendly and professional. The tables are far enough apart so you dont find your neighbour listening to your conversation. A reservation especially on a Saturday night is recommended as it gets busy. The only downside....... the prices are on the high side for Baden, so be preapred to bring your credit card with you.
Had dinner with my teacher colleagues on Wednesday evening. As we were 21 People we got the small menue card. It still gave enough ideas. The waiter had some dishes not mentioned on the card. E.g. chicken curry with vegetable curry. Some people had the Cordon bleu, some vegetarian. I choose the curry which was very nice. Not to spicy, just right. The waitress suggested a Magnum wine bottle, which is a bit cheaper then two normal bottles. It was just right!
I was back again last night and I do have to say this is a really excellent restaurant. The service is top notch, attentive, friendly and very competent. The place itself is very nice with lovely outdoor seating in the summertime. The food is always excellent and very varied. Always hard to choose from all the excellent meals on offer. And it’s back I go as soon as I can
I had meat once, which was great. Another time I had something vegetarian, which I didn’t like. They sit you next to another table with people even though the restaurant was empty.
